What’s Your Favorite Group Exercise?

When I’m planning aerobics classes in Utah, variety is always best. However, I’ve seen over time that some classes seem to get better response than others.
Thanks for answering this question:

I had a blast at zoomba class this morning. Chantel did it at her building- I usually HATE aerobics on account of my long, lanky arms and legs. I generally look ridiculous! But I love to dance!!

Thanks for the comment, Amber. I didn’t know Chantel did Zumba! It is definitely a fun new addition to my classes–I think the time flies and the cardio kicks my butt.

I love to be able to do something that is effective and quick because this is a good way to get your heartbeat up and be able to have fun while doing it. I agree that variety is definitely good and I love aerobics especially those that have music that goes well with what you have planned. Even if your students were to do one day that they had to plan the routines etc is good also because they learn how important it is to have a warm up time and cool down period.

Great idea–I think I’ll try to have my students take the reins one day this semester. It will be fun, different, and a great learning experience–and variety is the spice of life, right? Thanks for sharing!
